Netflix, the streaming media giant is gearing up to bring it’s first original programming to televisions everywhere and they have teamed up with some of the most biggest talents in the entertainment world to make it happen. In collaboration with Academy Award Winner Kevin Spacey, two time Academy Award Nominee David Fincher and Academy Award Winner Eric Roth comes the drama series House Of Cards, one of the most anticipated projects in Hollywood today. House Of Cards will star the impeccable Mr. Spacey (The Usual Suspects, Seven) in a searing adaptation of the legendary BBC miniseries of the same name based on the acclaimed novel by Michael Dobbs. Spacey will play U.S. Representative Frank Underwood who decides to use every connection he has and secret he knows in Washington to bring down The President Of The United States when he is passed over for the position of Secretary Of State that he believes was rightfully his. This project will portray political drama drenched with intrigue, betrayal and twists set in the highest levels of government. The aforementioned Fincher (The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, The Game) will direct the pilot and serve as producer and the first rate James Foley (Confidence, At Close Range) will be on hand to direct a cast that already includes the talents of Robin Wright (Forrest Gump, Moneyball), Michael Kelly (Changeling, Man on the Moon) and Kate Mara (We Are Marshall, Tadpole).
