Independence Day 2 is part of a planned two-part continuation of the original’s classic story of huge, menacing alien ship descending upon all parts of our world intent on eradicating all mankind. Can everyday citizens around the globe once again band together to take down this mighty foe? ID2 is assembling an exciting cast that thus far will see talented new comers Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2), Maika Monroe (It Follows), Joey King (Oz the Great and Powerful), Jessie Usher (When the Game Stands Tall) and Charlotte Gainsbourg (I’m Not There.) suit up alongside returning players Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), Vivica A. Fox (Batman & Robin), Bill Pullman (Zero Effect), Judd Hirsch (Numb3rs) and Brent Spiner (Star Trek: Insurrection) in another glorious struggle for survival against those that come from the skies.
