In many cases, especially when it comes to young talent, companies hold open auditions for children between certain age groups. The idea of open auditions is fairly straightforward; children who are interested in the arts are invited to come down and meet with talent agents and industry insiders. If the children are deemed the right fit for the company in question call backs for specific roles are initiated. In some cases a talent agent chooses to work directly with the client.
